What it is
The banker app is the mobile surface for the front office — the relationship managers, private bankers, advisors and sales people who carry a book of clients. Where the Investor App faces the end-investor, the banker app faces the person advising them. It puts the book of business in the banker's hand: every assigned client, searchable, with a true 360° view — holdings, mandates, recent activity and contact history in one place. It reads live portfolios and NAV from the PMS, mandate and suitability from onboarding, and the client book and interaction history from the CRM, and it lets the banker log activity back from the phone the moment a meeting ends.
The design principle is the same one that runs through the rest of the stack: the banker app consumes; it does not own. Nothing is re-keyed and no figure is a stale overnight copy — the positions a banker sees are the positions the PMS holds, current. It reads the same data layer as the PMS, CRM, Data Aggregation and the Investor App, so the number the banker quotes in a meeting is the number the client sees in their own app. Everything is protected by biometric login, role-based access and a full audit trail, the data stays inside your perimeter, and the whole app ships white-label under your brand and your app-store accounts. It runs today in beta on iOS and Android.
Who it's for
The banker app ships for managers whose front office lives in meetings and on the road, and whose book of business is too important to leave on a laptop back at the desk.
- Wealth managers with relationship-manager teams — every RM carries their whole book, briefed and current, into each client meeting instead of printing a pack the night before.
- Private banks & private-banking units — bankers check a mandate, a risk profile and a live portfolio before proposing anything, from the room they're standing in.
- Asset managers with sales & distribution teams — the field team sees who holds what, logs every touch, and never re-keys a call note into the CRM from memory on Friday.
- Family & multi-family offices — advisors covering a handful of families get the full picture per client with role-based access, without exporting spreadsheets.
- Independent advisors & IFAs — a single branded app that carries the book, the portfolios and the CRM logging without a back-office to lean on.
What it covers
The banker app covers everything a relationship manager opens their phone for during a working day, and nothing it shouldn't — because the systems of record stay upstream.
- Client book & true 360° — all assigned clients, searchable, each with holdings, mandates, recent activity and contact history on one screen.
- Live portfolios & NAV — positions, performance and allocation versus mandate, read live from the PMS on the go — no overnight refresh, no stale numbers.
- Meeting prep & briefings — a one-tap client brief before you walk in: portfolio snapshot, last interactions, upcoming maturities and open tasks.
- Activity & CRM logging — log a call or meeting, create a task and capture notes from the phone; it syncs to the finnerve CRM and to mailbox logging, so the record writes itself.
- Mandate & suitability at hand — check a client's mandate, risk profile and suitability before proposing anything, with drift flagged before it becomes a breach.
- Alerts & exceptions — cash to invest, maturities, mandate breaches and corporate actions pushed to the banker, not buried in a report nobody opens.
- White-label & secure by design — your brand and your app-store accounts, with biometric login, role-based access and a full audit trail; data stays in the perimeter.
How it fits your stack
The banker app is a thin client on top of systems you already trust. Live portfolios and NAV come from the PMS, the client's risk profile and suitability come from onboarding, and the client book and interaction history come from the CRM — which also receives every call, note and task the banker logs from the phone. The banker app itself owns only the experience — white-label theming, authentication, the client book and push. Because it reads the same data layer as the Investor App and Data Aggregation, the banker and their client are looking at one source of truth. Your data never leaves your perimeter unintentionally.
Ten minutes on a branded device
Implementations are led by people who have run advisory desks. Your brand and app-store accounts, no codebase fork. Pre-wired to the PMS, CRM and AML/KYC you run. Sample clients on a real device in session one.
From there the app carries the routine friction the front office would otherwise absorb by hand: the meeting brief assembles itself from the portfolio and the CRM, activity logs itself the moment a banker saves a note, and alerts on cash, maturities and mandate drift find the banker rather than waiting in a report. The goal of every engagement is the same — the shortest path to an app your bankers actually open, on your live book, in your brand — and it compounds the rest of the stack you run with us. Bring us one relationship manager and one real client record, and ten minutes on a branded device will tell you more than any deck.
Results
What good looks like: a relationship manager walks into every meeting already briefed — portfolio, last interactions, upcoming maturities and open tasks pulled up in one tap — and the CRM stays current because the call gets logged from the phone on the way out, not reconstructed from memory on Friday afternoon. The book stops living in the banker's head and starts living in one place the whole desk can see.
The banker app is in beta, so rather than a case study we'll show you the live product and, in a working session, wire it to a slice of your own book — a real banker, real clients — so you can judge it against how your desk actually runs.
Frequently asked questions
We already have a CRM and a PMS on the web. Why put an app in our bankers' hands?
Because the meeting doesn't happen at the desk. A relationship manager on the road either carries the book with them or works from a pack printed the night before that's stale by the time they sit down. The banker app puts the live book — every client, every portfolio, mandate and open task — in their pocket, and lets them log the call before they've left the lobby. It doesn't replace your CRM or PMS; it's the mobile surface for both, reading and writing the same records. Put it in one banker's hand in a working session and watch how much stops going back to the desk to get done.
Is it genuinely our brand, or finnerve's app with our logo dropped in?
It's yours — 100% white-label across your brand, colours and app-store accounts, so the App Store and Play Store listings carry your name, not ours. The theming happens without forking the codebase, so you get your identity and we still ship updates centrally. Your clients and your bankers never see finnerve. In a working session we'll theme a build to your brand guidelines and hand you the device.
It shows live portfolios — where does that data come from, and is it a second system of record?
The portfolios and NAV a banker sees are read live from your PMS; the client book and history come from the CRM; the app holds no book of its own. That's the whole design: it's a delivery surface, not a system of record, so there's nothing to re-key and nothing to reconcile against a stale copy. It reads the same data layer as the Investor App and Data Aggregation, so the number a banker quotes in a meeting is the number the client sees in their own app.
How secure is it, given a banker is carrying the whole book on a phone?
Every session is protected by biometric login, access is role-based so a banker only ever sees their own book, and every action is written to a full audit trail. The data stays inside your perimeter — no third-party broker sits in the path. To be precise about it: formal platform certifications sit at the PMS level, and the app enforces the controls above on top of that. Bring your security or compliance lead to a working session and we'll walk the auth model, the access rules and the audit trail end to end.
It's in beta. Is that safe to put in front of our front office?
We'll be straight about it: the banker app is in beta, running on iOS and Android under a developer account, and we roll it out the way a careful manager would — a build skinned in your brand and loaded with sample clients first, then a controlled pilot with a small group of bankers before any wider release. Your front office sees the product, and the path, before it touches a live book. Book a working session and we'll show you exactly what beta means here and how the rollout is staged.
How does the activity logging actually work — is it one more thing bankers have to remember?
The opposite. The point of logging from the phone is that it happens in the moment — a banker saves a call, a note or a task on the way out of the meeting, and it syncs to the finnerve CRM and to mailbox logging without a second entry back at the desk. The record writes itself while it's fresh, instead of being reconstructed from memory at week's end or skipped entirely. In a working session we'll log a meeting on the phone and show you it landing on the CRM record.
